Is it a subscription?

No. Transparent Lock Screen licenses are permanent. If you choose not to update to a newer version, you pay only once and can use the software indefinitely.

Do you rebill for software updates?

No, we do not rebill. If you require a newer version of Transparent Lock Screen, you will need to place a new order yourself.

Are licenses per user or per computer?

Transparent Lock Screen is licensed per computer. In multi-user environments (e.g., terminal servers or quick user switching), only one license per machine is required. Each virtual machine (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, or VirtualBox) must be licensed separately, even if running on the same hardware.

Do I need an internet connection to apply the license key?

No. Transparent Lock Screen does not require an internet connection for installation or licensing. You can use it in a completely isolated environment.

What will I receive after purchase?

The software available for download from our website is a fully featured 15-day trial. After making the purchase, you will receive a license key, which you must apply to the trial version to remove the 15-day limitation.

Can I extend my trial period?

Can I transfer my license between computers?

Yes. Licenses can be transferred an unlimited number of times between computers. You do not need to contact us to transfer your license. Follow these steps to transfer your license:

  1. Install Transparent Lock Screen on the new computer in trial mode without activating the license.
  2. Ensure the license is no longer used on the previous computer using one of these methods:
    • Uninstall the software
    • Delete the license key from the registry
    • Format the hard drive or recycle the old computer
  3. Wait at least 24 hours.
  4. Apply the license key to the new computer.
